Stopped here on a cold and rainy day of driving the Alaska Highway and was blown away by the delicious and warming meal. The brioche BLT and chicken tortellini soup was absolutely delicious. The sandwich was fresh, the bun buttery, and the proportions spot on. The soup was creamy and filling. And the customer service was fabulous! What a lovely surprise to find in a tiny little northern BC town.

Unable to rate, restaurant is closed. Check operating hours. Closed 3 PM Monday afternoon. Open to 5PM some other days according to sign of the door. Name has changed to NENAS (Northeast Native Advancing Society) so they may have different management. They're on the south side of a multi-unit Office ce complex, no signs visible from the north /51st Avenue sid f the building. RV parking space on east side of building, a long gravel space.

Stopped here for lunch while driving up to Alaska. The restaurant is clean and well lit. Seating is comfortable, why the option of table & chairs, comfy couches, or patio seating outside.
They offer a small menu of paninis, wraps, salads, etc. as well as the usual gourmet coffee selection.
I had the Reuben panini with Caesar salad. Each tasted great. To drink, a vanilla latte.
I will definitely return here when I come back from Alaska. -

My first time to Fort Nelson, for lunch we stopped at Gourmet Girl and my husband ordered the Rueben Sandwich with caesar salad as his side, and I order the Beef Dip Sandwich with Chicken Tortilla soup as my side. The soup was delicious!!! I loved my beef dip as the au jus was made with real beef drippings (not that packaged stuff). Delicious. My husband enjoyed his reuben, but i think he liked my beef dip more. Ordered xlarge latte. I also bought their HUGE RASPBERRY SCONE. I am a big fan of scones and it was delicious. We plan to go back tomorrow morning for breakfast. Highly recommend and definately at 5 star rating!

This is probably the best food that I've had in Canada! Such a gem to find along the Alaska Highway! If you are passing through and want something other than pizza and A&W this place is the place to get delicious, fresh, homemade food!
I got the chicken, apple, spinach, and bre panini with their tomorrow red lentil soup.
And my friend got grilled cheese with a salad.
Then we took some of the amazing soup to-go and had that night when we stop to camp.
